Retirement Retirement Benefits

 

Please contact the Human Resources Department if you are planning on retiring from the District.  There are a number of steps that should be accomplished, by you, well in advance of your actual retirement date.  These steps should include:
  • Attend the Foundation for Your Future retirement counseling session available through the Public School Retirement System (PSERS) 
  • Refer to your Compensation Plan or Collective Bargaining Agreement for pertinent timelines and details
  • Submit a Request for Estimate available through PSERS
  • Submit a written retirement letter to the Human Resources Department
  • Complete the PSERS Application for Retirement
